A little about me. I'm Anacelia, the founder of Metarithmika. By training, I'm an IT engineer — numbers have felt intuitive to me since I was a student, and that instinct has shaped every step of my career since. Engineering also taught me to think in systems: break a complex problem into clear steps, spot exactly where a process is likely to break, and build something structured enough to repeat reliably. That's the mindset behind how we run your books — and it's also why we work paperless and tech-forward by default: the right systems, set up right, keep your financial data secure, organized, and easy to access whenever you need it.

Why this work matters to me. Before I came to Canada, I ran our family business in Greece, wearing every hat that needed wearing — including the books. Taxation was always the hardest part: figuring out how to keep more of what we earned, without accidentally overpaying or getting it wrong. That struggle stayed with me. When I arrived in Canada and went back to school to study Business Management, it was the accounting and payroll coursework I connected with most — because I finally understood why it had been so hard, and how much it costs owners who don't get the right support.

Where that led me. I started my career here as an accounting assistant and was promoted to Finance Director within two years. That role showed me the full picture: running a business's finances well takes a lot more than bookkeeping — it takes a whole accounting department. So that's what I built. Today, that same approach guides our growing team of accounting experts, who bring the same accuracy, care, and structure to every client we serve.
